A peaceful and memorable solo escape with a truly lovely host.

I loved the peaceful, quiet setting- perfect for a solo getaway. The accommodation was spotless, cozy, and had everything I needed, including free parking and WiFi. Jamie, the host, was incredibly kind and thoughtful, which made me feel completely at ease and very welcome.

There was nothing I did not like, I will definitely be staying again

Excellent stay, brilliant communication all through, apartment was lovely and warm inside and the bed was super comfy, I was even left some breakfast items for the next morning, very rural setting so absolutely no noise.. Would highly recommend for a lovely quite stay

Perfect location, rural but not far from Oldcastle . Very comfortable in every way, hosts were responsive, helpful and welcoming. Great beds, and bathroom- plenty of hot water and heating (if required). Thank you for a lovely stay .

Lovely spot in idyllic countryside on a working farm, self contained flat, spotlessly clean, and easy distance from oldcastle and loughcrew for tourists.

We could have booked more time here and taken longer investigating fascinating historic sites in the locality

Quiet and peaceful stay

It has everything we needed for the stay. Jamie's mum received us personally, explained everything and gave us delicious homemade cupcakes. The location is serene and quiet. The price is a bargain

Great stay at ChestNut View!

Really nice location, really comfortable twin bed apartment with a well equiped kitchen, a lovely large sitting room and a lot of thought put into ensuring their guests have a lovely stay. If you want to be one with nature and have a lovely comfortable unfussy stay then ChestNut View is such a great place. Oldcastle is also a very nice small town and there are wonderful walks and historical places all within easy reach! My friend and I had a very nice stay and we hope to come back - thanks to our kind and gracious hosts!

Superb

Very quiet, we slept very well! Everything you needed was there. The apartment has everything you need - not too modern, but very cozy. Heating and hot water needs to be operated with a timer. There's a written explanation in kitchen and living room and the owner also was there to give instructions.

Off the main road, only a narrow road leads there (for the last 500 m or so), but only 3 families live along the road, so - furtunately - we never encountered a car coming our way (while driving in or out).

This is a lovely adjoining flat to a beautiful farm house located outside Oldcastle. Cozy and tidy.

The flat lacks some basic safety items and the shower is poor at best.
