Luxurious studio in the heart of Madrid - ST 2

While small it was perfect for me, very convenient to shopping, restaurants and the subway. And clean and quiet.

'People who like this kind of accomodation will love this apartment.' Unfortunately, it is not quite what we like. The location is very good, essentially in the center of all the places one would like to visit in Madrid, stores such as Lidl are very close, the nice narrow streets are full of people, restaurants are nearby (unfortunately, we mostly prefer to cook and the one burner stove does not make it very easy), the place is very clean, the equipment modern, but the apartment itself is minimal in size, and dark, and hardly a place where you would like to spend any amount of time. I would have liked to know this - and I could have deduced it from the description which is essentially quite correct - but I didn't. 'Luxurious' is not the word I would use to describe it. When you look at the street photograph (the apartment is one of several behind the narrow door in the center), you should see that it is essentially 1/4 slice of a typical house in the historic part of Madrid.
