About this house rental
Horseshoe Acres is a 3 1/2 acre property with a newly renovated 5 bedroom, 4 bath A-frame house in a peaceful, wooded area next to the White Oak Rail Trail, and 10 minutes from the New River Gorge bridge. It has all the amenities you desire, including a theater room with surround sound, spa room with infrared sauna, large deck with an 8-person Jacuzzi hot tub, an upstairs game room and an outdoor fire pit.
The house has 5 bedrooms (1 on the first floor, 4 on the second), with 4 baths (2 on each floor). A dining room and breakfast nook are available for indoor dining, with additional seating on the deck for outdoor dining and grilling. Our home theater room and spa room are both on the first floor, along with a fully stocked kitchen and coffee bar.
The theater room has a 75 inch TV, surround sound, and reclining chairs to help you fully enjoy your favorite movie or the big game. YouTube TV is available for streaming of local stations and popular cable network, and you can cast video from your favorite apps to the TV.
The spa room includes a 4-person infrared sauna, plus a soaking, lighted jet tub for the ultimate in relaxation.
Upstairs, you'll be greeted by a game room with arcade games, foosball and arcade-style basketball, or you can sit and relax on our upstairs balcony. The master suite includes a large bedroom with TV and a luxurious rain shower with double seating.
Behind the house is a large deck with Napoleon grill, outdoor seating, a gas fire table and an 8-person Jacuzzi hot tub facing the forest. Nearby is a large outdoor fire pit with Adirondack chairs for campfires and s'mores. We really enjoyed our time at Horseshoe Acres! It was a quick drive to everywhere we wanted to go but felt secluded. Lots of amenities. Attentive host.

We had a very hot week, so hiking and biking took place in the morning. Afternoons were spent with some sightseeing and a lot of time in our vacation house. There was so much to do there. The theater room and the game room were a definite hit with both kids and adults. Outdoors some of our group used the hot tub, corn hole and the s’mores around the fire pit. There is a basketball goal and a big yard for bubbles and running around. After an active day the sauna and jet tub gave comfort. The kitchen was well stocked with most of the tools necessary. Bring your crockpot and a large mixing bowl if you need them. We have stayed in a lot of vacation homes, but I have never found one where so much was provided. Owners were friendly and accessible when needed. Location was very quiet and easy to get to. We would return for sure. Extremely clean.
