About this cabin rental
4 bedrooms (one on the main floor), 3 baths, lots of windows, Jacuzzi tub in main bathroom, cathedral ceilings, central air and heat, fully equipped kitchen, authentic log furniture.
This recently designed 3 level log home features an open floor plan where the kitchen, dining area and living room seamlessly blend into each other. Lots of light is provided through the two story high windows and a huge wraparound deck and covered porch are easily accessed for outdoor dining. A stone fireplace with a pellet stove makes for cozy winters and above the fireplace whilst an authentic Black Bear watches over you. The kitchen of course is fully equipped with everything you would expect and the furniture in the living room is very comfortable. Towards the back, you will find the Master Bed Room with a queen bed. It connects to the Master bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, toilet and a double vanity.
The house offers easy access for those with moderate mobility problems, as we installed a gently sloping ramp between the parking lot and the front door.
Upstairs, you will find two bed rooms, each with two twin beds. One of the two bed rooms has private access to the full bathroom with separate toilet, shower tub and double vanity. At the front of the house, there is a loft for relaxing with extensive views. On the lower level, you will find another bed room with a queen bed. The bathroom has a tiled shower, toilet and sink. The Family room offers a comfortable two seat sofa, a couch, an easy chair and a 42 inch TV. At the back of the cabin, there is a picnic table, fire pit and a park style grill.

We absolutely adored our time here at The Retreat! The location was amazing (seriously, couldn’t be better!) and we loved everything about our stay! Personally, I loved being able to cook upstairs and watch the firepit from porch upstairs while the boys hung out next to it. Tammy was also was fantastic. Responded quickly to our questions.
It was just a perfect stay!

This home was absolutely beautiful, nestled away in the Pipestem State Park. It snowed the entire weekend and the host was gracious to give us great directions and assistance if anyone got stuck. Would recommend for a group ski trip to Winterplace!

Pros-Quiet & beautifully secluded.
Cons-for $2,700 7 night stay:
2 front porch lights-one worked
2 lights over kitchen counter- one worked
Light over stove didn’t work
Light on table in living room didn’t work
No bulb or outlet for light on nightstand in master bedroom
Bath towels you could practically see through
