Woodpeckers - Stylish luxury property with hot tub

The build quality was exceptional, highly individual and functions smoothly. Kitchen and bathrooms with quality fittings, delightful to use. Hot tub a luxurious extra and much appreciated, as was the outdoor space which works well, we were gifted with great weather too! Beds were very comfortable. The property is very interesting and feels spacious.

There was nothing to dislike about this stunning home. Just avoid using the showers upstairs and downstairs at the same time - simple!

Lovely location down country lane - beautiful property with high end appliances in kitchen - gorgeous bedrooms and shower facilities- large living room and dinning table - perfect for large family - lovely garden for chilling out with bbq and garden furniture - hot tub (which unfortunately wasn’t working for us )

We booked this property as it is advertised with hot tub which was a selling point for us - however we were not informed it wasn’t working until it came to filling it and we had to make contact about it. However the management company did try to offer a reduced cost for use of a spa facility but having already paid a premium for a property with a hot tub we did not think it appropriate for us to have to incur further costs when the idea was to relax in the garden with the family and children. We booked this property through booking.com and I can say I am not impressed with their lack of response to my emails regarding my booking so much so I have cancelled all my other bookings with them - if they can’t respond to a simple query I dread to think how they would react to a serious complaint.

Spacious property; good kitchen and well-equipped; beautiful mural in sitting room; lovely log-burning fire in sitting room; beautiful countryside location. Lovely to have a bath in one of the bathrooms and nice showers as well.

The cottage was not nearly as clean as I would have liked. There was a revolting urine stain on one of the loo seats when we arrived, dead flies on the carpets and when we moved a chair in a bedroom, a mat or cobwebs behind it. However, this was the only thing we could fault!

Lovely, spacious property. Comfortable beds, beautiful large sitting room with fabulous wall-mural and wooden-burning stove. High-end kitchen with appliances that actually work and all the equipment one would need including Quooker tap (although we had to search for a kettle!). For the first time ever enough wood, kindling and fire-lighters were provided as well as enough dishwasher tablets. We enjoyed the hot-tub and there were plentiful large and fluffy towels. it all felt very luxurious. Lovely location, tucked away in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by nature with owls hooting and screeching all night and birds visible on the surrounding trees all day - beautiful.

It was extremely expensive (but it is a large property and very high-end!). Cleanliness was a bit of an issue - there were lots of cobwebs in corners, over lights, behind sofas. We also couldn't locate the main black bin for rubbish, nor could we find any green or black bags to put our recycling and rubbish in. The property was also rather on the cold side and the radiators in the bedrooms didn't seem to work despite turning the thermostats up on both the radiators and on the walls to test the system.
