Crofton House

When we arrived you could smell the history of this 18th century guest house. The hosts (Izzy and Mikey) were exceptional, interesting and polite.

We enjoyed everything. However, if you're seeking your normal bog standard guest house then it might not be for you as it's rather 'quirky'

This is a beautiful house with an even more enchanting garden, easy walking distance into town . Quite unique

Ollie is a very welcoming and helpful host. The room was very comfortable and had been kept as cool as possible on one of the warmest days of the year.

Ollie was an amazing host - friendly, welcoming and incredibly helpful. His home is beautiful and full of fascinating history. As there is only one guest room, you are the only visitors, which makes for a very peaceful and personal stay. Our room had its own private shower room, separate toilet and a lovely bathroom overlooking the garden. We had the entire floor to ourselves, giving us plenty of privacy. The garden is absolutely stunning, and one of its highlights is a magnificent vine that is around 175 years old. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

We had no issues when we were there. Some people may prefer an en suite but it didn't bother us at all.
