Kettle in room did not work. Hotel was loud with alarms going off in middle of night from car park attached to hotel (unavoidable but maybe better sound insulation could be considered). Breakfast was good.

An ideal overnight stay in the city centre

Booked to stay here as I was in town to see Skindred at Middlesbrough Town Hall, just over the road. There's plenty of parking at the Cleveland Centre car park, which is situated on the third floor of the hotel and has a door to access the hotel. We received a friendly greeting at reception, and our room had a great view over the Centre Square opposite. The room was very clean and had a double sized walk in shower and comfy beds. I was able to order vegan sausages and vegan baked beans for breakfast, but no mushrooms... Overall a very good hotel with decent facilities, great staff, and near to Middlesbrough centre. I'd definitely stay here again.

Not a bad stay, however I didnt appreciate being woken by the cleaner at 9.30am when check out isnt till 12.30. That aside, decent clean hotel with friendy staff.

The reception staff was very rude The bed sheet and towel were in terrible conditions. Not even cleaned The breakfast was so bad and same option being served daily No vegetarian options. Overall experience was terrible

Check in and check out we’re the best parts of our brief stay. Took us an age to find our room as it was in the far reaches of the hidden part of the hotel! Bar area was not a place where I felt comfortable enjoying a drink, areas weren’t cleaned - it had obviously been a busy shift for many of the staff. The room was basic, but clean.

Polite staff, v clean and modern rooms that were well equipped for the price. My room was so far from reception - needed to take two separate lifts to get there! Backed onto the sloping entrance to a car park and was very noisy early in the morning with an awful view! So for this reason wouldn’t stay there again.

After calling the hotel to confirm I could park my van in the car park I was told it would be possible. I told the receptionist it was a large van (transit) prior, and made it clear it was not a transit custom. Again told that the van would fit. If I had known prior It would not fit Iwould not have booked this hotel. When arriving trying to actually find the car park first was a nightmare as it is not clearly sign posted. Then to get to the car park and find my van would not fit under the barrier was extremely frustrating. After speaking to the receptionist inside he then stated I could park it in the euro car park across the road which was open air and had cctv. Parked the van in the euro carpark, paying for the van option again was a nightmare. Will not be returning.
