The Poppies, a stylish Aldeburgh holiday home

We had a great stay. The house is very comfortable and close to the centre of Aldburgh. Lots of space for our group of 3 adults and two children.

We had a few minor issues with the shower not working properly and the door but we had a very quick response and they were resolved quickly.

Nice quiet location, 2 minutes drive from the town. Cosy cottage, comfortable, and well equipped.

We have had a wonderful last-minute weekend by the sea and we'd love to return and stay for longer. The house was modern, light, well-equipped, comfortable, spacious and stylish. Lovely secure garden for the dog. Excellent location - quiet road, easy walk to the beach, town, playground and Thorpeness.

Couldn't find a fault!

Good location for what we needed. Reasonably spacious and clean.

There were areas where some improvement would make a huge difference. The front garden not particularly appealing to the eye - lots of dead grass and rusting gateway that was difficult to open. The rear garden has good potential but garden furniture looks very tired and the grass was long overdue for cutting down not inviting to sit out. We reported an issue with the top floor bathroom as when we discovered that there was no cold water feed to the shower which made it unusable for safety reasons. The agents responded promptly but the issue was not fixed before we left on day five. We specifically needed to have two fully operational bathrooms. There were also lots of strange and loud noise complaints ming from the top floor waste. Non-slip mats in both bathrooms would be helpful from a safety viewpoint and also some kind of stabilising handles for the bath.
