Very nice location and great plot overlooking the fields etc.

We’d asked for the bed configuration as doubles. Although 1 room wasn’t it was easy to push the beds together. That’s when the cleaning was noticed plus the Vacuum cleaner was full and not really strong enough and took several attempts. We needed to plug in fans with the sockets behind beds. More dust found. Outdoor patio area could have been cleaner with cobwebs around the patio doors and dirt in the runners. Would have expected better for the price paid. However ! We all had a great time out and about.

The property was in an ideal location, was spacious and clean. We particularly love the social area of the kitchen lounge and diner. We love that it felt secluded and the decked view of the Fields and cows were beautiful.

We didn’t like the surprise of a hot tub that we couldn’t use. We would’ve loved a hot tub even though that wasn’t advertised. I guess we would rather it not be there than just being there but we couldn’t use it. Also, the bin situation was rather a nightmare when we were leaving we couldn’t find the bins for general waste and in the welcome book we were told that glass waste was at the roundabout near the Tesco’s. However, we found no glass bins at roundabout or at Tesco’s and we ended up having to take all the glass back home with us this is not ideal.

A beautiful big lodge in a quiet clean site with a lovely view out back. It was clean and comfortable with plenty of space to spread out. Aldeburgh was a 20 minute walk and the beach was 5 mins. The staff on the site were friendly and helpful.

Whenever we used the toaster, the power would trip. None of the internal trip switches went off. The only place to reset it was 15 meters away outside. Stay in Suffolk (The lettings agency), weren’t particularly helpful but the site staff were. We certainly didn’t overload anything at the time. Finally, there was only seating for 3 on the patio, 3 teaspoons and 4 place mats, despite there being 5 of us. It sleeps up to 6.

No Internet afvertised as such engineer could not fix it when called out
