My two friends and I stayed at Crystal Rapids Retreat to celebrate our “mid-life” milestone birthdays. We wanted to ditch the city to better connect with each other and nature, which we did ALL weekend. From watching the sun rise while drinking coffee on the deck… to traversing the Muskegon River in our kayaks… to grilling out for dinner and laughing around the fire pit, there was no shortage of peace and enjoyment. The property is well-maintained, supplies are aplenty, and the neighbors are very kind. This property is an affordable, hidden gem that won’t disappoint!

Nourishing inside and outside, tastefully decorated and inviting and all in front of the Muskegon River--a few steps off of the deck--its a rural wonder.

I really enjoyed my stay. It was the relaxing view of the Muskegon River that i liked. The house is very clean and had everything i needed.
