This is a single lot private camp and has its own dock leading to 10 lakes. Called Martiny Chain Of Lakes. Nicknamed Michigan's Everglades. This place is packed full of wildlife and game , fishing and hunting , hiking and more. Bring your boat. Fish cleaning station on site.

Dion and Rod are great hosts! They're very attentive and quick to help with any questions we had. They even gave us produce from their garden. They helped with getting the kids set out on kayaks, we were able to buy overflowing wheelbarrows full of good campfire wood, outside games were provided for us, we were able to use their dryer when our tent decided to let the rain soak our daughters duffle bag full of clothes, and they showed us how to manage the ac. We were allowed to have a tent by us which was very nice, but i recommend moving it every couple of days because I'm pretty sure we killed the grass where ours was. The area is very quiet, very peaceful and kind neighborhood. The camper slept comfortably for our family of five. Dion and Rod were available to take us on a tour on the lakes. We even stopped to let the kids swim. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you Dion and Rod for the generous hospitality. Sorry for the late review ;)

Couldn’t have asked for a more friendly host and a clean property. I think having a boat would have made things a little more fun. The kayaks were great but have to dodge pontoon boats. This area is very rural and not “upscale” to choose words carefully. Lots of great folks as well.

I honestly cannot complain about a single thing with our visit. The owner is awesome and knowledgeable with local businesses and places to explore and stay busy. The property is beautiful, with a private dock you can sit, relax by the water and drink a beer while reeling in tons of fish. The camper is very well taken care of and was immaculately clean upon arrival. AC, Wifi, shower, bathroom, stove, grill all work as they should. (Heads up, it gets chilly at night up there so make sure you don’t forget to set thermostat like I did. 100% my fault.) We were lucky enough to get to go for a trip around the lakes on the owners pontoon with his father (Awesome military vet) giving us the tour with tons of local knowledge and stories. I 100% recommend this for a relaxing couples getaway, we will be booking our next trip soon!

If you like to camp this could be for you. An older well-loved camper. I recommend bringing your own pillows. We brought our own water for drinking and making coffee due to hard water. The only complaint we had was the sewer smell in the bathroom. The owner was very pleasant and although we had the option to use kayaks we didn't have the time.
