About this cabin rental
This cabin is the old boy's dorm of the Central Michigan Evangelistic Association Campground. It has been remodeled for families to come and enjoy the large piece of property along the Muskegon River and the White Pine Trail. It has a full kitchen, bathroom, shower, and 3 bedrooms that sleep 6 people comfortably. The bedrooms do have sliding doors that are a bit loud at night. It could use a good paint job but with me allowing dogs it's hard to keep up. This is nowhere near perfect condition, but it is super cute. If you would like to go kayaking just let me know prior to your stay so I’m available to take you upstream and you get out at the campground. I have 13 kayaks and one 3 seater canoe. The price would be $25 each kayak and $50 for the canoe. Camping is $37 a night with water and electric hookup. There are lots of wildlife like eagles, turkeys, deer, and fish. I am confident you will enjoy your stay when you come. There are 3 more cabins that are available and a yurt. Those are also on VRBO. Feel free to contact Gray's Riverside Camp for inquiries.

Quiet, clean, great air conditioning (hot weather week!) and TV (World Cup was on…) and directly on the White Pine Trail! Comfortable beds. Very quiet. Host provided kayak drop off and rental for a lovely float down the river one afternoon. We cycled each day and found the White Pine trail going south to be very smoothly paved, bumpier going north towards Reed City out of Big Rapids but still good. Big Rapids was fun to explore. Went to Nawal’s Mediterranean Grill for dinner, it is excellent and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend staying here, should be on every cyclists list.

The host was super nice but and the cabin has potential but we had to lower the rating because the pipes froze in the bathroom the day of our arrival and the kitchen sink wouldn’t drain. Had issues with the wifi/tv too. Probably better suited for warm weather stays, which we would be willing to try.
