New in 2026: Construction has been completed on a new pool, hot tub and patio area. An outdoor elevator has also been added to the property for guest use. While we aim to keep it in service at all times, it may be unavailable during preventive maintenance or unexpected outages, and use of the elevator is not guaranteed as part of the rental. Guests who rely on elevator access should contact us in a VRBO booking request prior to confirming their booking. Temporary photos of the new pool are available and professional photos coming soon.

We are two couples who love to hang out and cook, and also explore. Casa Owaissa is perfect for both! Gorgeous, traditional decor with breathtaking views. The pool area on level 1 and the upstairs terrace provide perches for any activity. Sunning, reading, toasting, brunching. We cannot speak highly enough of Norma and all of her warmth and help. And Nestor takes great care of the vast gardens, pool, etc. It’s truly an oasis—right on top of the Romantic zone where restaurants, shopping, arts & beaches await. Highly recommend!

Spence made us feel like we had a little slice of paradise in Puerto Vallarta. It was difficult to leave and come back home. Norma and Nestor took care of all our needs and made us feel relaxed. Norma’s breakfasts were the perfect way to start the day.

Always a lovely stay at Casa Owaissa.

We have stayed at Casa Owaissa many times and simply cannot find a better experience in Puerto Vallarta. The house is perfect traditional Mexico, which we love. Mexican tile, wrought iron, color and open doors and windows. Huge rooms, balconies, air conditioning (wen needed) and perfect in every way. The pool area is exceptional: full of plants, birds, views of the ocean and great sun! Full time support from Norma and Nestor means that you are safe, catered to and things are super clean. In many stays over many years we have never had critter issues or cleanliness issues…it’s really perfect. We would not stay anywhere else.
