About this apartment rental
This 2 bedroom, 2 bath, high end condo is in a great location in PV. Up on the hill you look down on the ocean and the large infinity pool. Sit in the pool and enjoy the views.
This is a private home that we purchased new and was a private residence. We rent on occasion to off set our maintenance costs.
The unit is in a building with many amenities including an amazing gym, stunning pool, maintenance staff and security. Grounds are kept immaculate, and getting assistance for things like taxi's is a breeze. We also have a local property manager.
THE AREA
It is a 10 minute walk to the ocean and another few minutes more to the boardwalk. The boardwalk is a great place to walk, and people watch, in the evening with outdoor entertainment, ice cream stands, and stores and restaurants of all types. Along the way to the boardwalk there are min-marts and plenty of restaurants to try out.
While there are almost always taxi's right outside the building, I recommend walking to town for dinner (downhill) and taking a taxi or Uber back in the evening. If you elect to stay in, you have a mini-mart just down the block and a few restaurants.
This unit is one of about 70 in the complex. The owners are predominately US and Canadian expats. About 20% of the owners live in their units year round, a small percentage of the units are set up as long term rentals, and most of the remaining owners come and go, like us. The complex has a staff that maintains the grounds and provides security. The unit has a dedicated parking spot if you have a car or are looking for a long term rental.
THE UNIT
Perfect for a family or couples on vacation. The quiet end unit has huge glass windows at the front of the unit (i.e. facing the ocean). The entire wall is made of glass and opens to a view of the pool and the ocean. Most people open the sliding glass wall and leave it open 24/7. There is a large balcony with a propane BBQ and table for eating/entertaining or chairs for just sitting and enjoying the view.
The master bedroom has a glass wall leading to the deck that slides open. Like the living room, if also faces the ocean. The master bedroom also has a beautiful master bath with his and her sinks, a tile shower and separate bath. There are walk in closets in both bedrooms.
The second bedroom has an attached bathroom, walk in closet and small balcony attached. The balcony runs along the side of the house but we rarely use it, opting for the front balcony that has the better views.
This was a private home, so cooking was important to us and the kitchen is fully functional. Granite counters with stainless steel appliances. Dishes, pots/pans, silverware, is all there. Although not shown in the photos, there is a microwave, oven, 5 burner gas stove, etc. The unit has a regular coffee maker and a Keurig coffee maker.
The den has a couch and a large flat screen TV. Both smart TVs have apps so you can log into your favorite streaming services.
The unit has high speed WiFi and a US phone number (VOIP). The speeds are good for video calls, streaming media or gaming, all of which I do on a regular basis when I am in PV. The building also has wifi available if you need it outside of the unit.
Although not in photos, there is a washer and dryer in the utility room next to the den. Its not particularly photogenic but it has full sized machines and is stocked with cleaning supplies.
We have maid service come every week. Additional servicing can be arranged. Our maid has been with us for about 15 years.
We rent to groups of 4 or less. Although our unit is big enough to host larger groups we simply don't.

We have been visiting PV for 20 years and typically rent in Marina Vallarta. This was an excellent condo unit. Clean and very spacious. Property manager was very easy to interact with and she was very kind. Smaller quiet development-no restaurant on site, and all shade during December holiday. If you seek sun, take a short taxi ride to Playa Punta Negra or Playa Mismaloya. Zona Romantica is a short walk with plenty of nightlife.

I recently returned from a wonderful 5-week “workation” where I stayed at this beautiful unit at Paramount Bay. It was without a doubt the nicest place I’ve stayed at in PV, and that includes stays at Indah by Sayan, Orchid, Pier 57 - and others. I had never stayed at Paramount Bay because I was afraid it would be noisy - because it’s right off the main road that goes to/from town. I was very pleasantly surprised at how wrong I was.
Everyone I dealt with, from the owner to the property manager, the handyman/TV guru, and the nice staff at Paramount Bay was great. Everyone was very responsive to every question I had, before and during my stay. The customer service was just awesome. I had no issues with the unit during my stay, and you can tell everyone involved works hard to take great care of the unit and ensure it was supplied with everything I needed for a great stay. The unit itself is beautiful, and the view of the pool, palm trees, ocean and pier in the distance is just incredible. They also have a mesh Wi-Fi system setup, so the Internet is very fast no matter where you are in the unit. I never had any issues with the Internet, which is obviously important when I work remotely.
I won’t hesitate to stay here again, and since my trips to PV are pretty flexible I will try to arrange them when there’s availability here so I can stay in this great unit again. Thank you to everyone involved with this unit who made my stay very enjoyable.

We spent about a week over New Years's Eve and this place was fantastic. The two bedroom condo is spacious, well-maintained, and in a great location. We were able to walk down to the beach, restaurants, and bars very easily. Definitely would stay here again!!

The beautiful lodging with it's amazing view, calmness and wealth of amenities here exceeded our expectations. The beautiful view upon entering the unit was pause inducing. The layout was perfect for our group. Everyone had ample space, the artistically designed spaces were a joy to relax in. We held dinners (where we all cooked) with friends easily in the well equipped kitchen. Then we retreated to the media room (a cool separate lounge) tucked away from the living room area for wine and movies on the big screen TV. The infinity pool is heavenly at night as the sun sets over the horizon. Definitely a beautiful place for the discerning traveler and his friend /family. We will be BACK!!!
