Boxwood Cottage, sleeps 8, nestled in the woods

Boxwood Cottage is a restful, peace-filled cottage tucked in the woods, just off of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail.  Located along a small rural road, but within easy distance of the west side of Seneca Lake, the Wine Trail, and Watkins Glen, this cottage offers both quiet spaces and easy accessibility to the Finger Lakes.

After you enter through the gated entry at the end of the lane, you'll follow the driveway as it winds back in through the trees and along the fields.  The cottage is set back in a clearing in the woods, with sunlight filtering through the trees and the sounds of birdsong.  Sit in the yard or around the firepit and enjoy the quiet breezes in the trees or take a short walk along the mowed paths through the wooded areas.

Stepping in to the home, you'll fall in love with the comfortable and cozy decor and living spaces.  The Kitchen, Dining room, and Living room are all one open space with a small sunken room--a great little office space--is just a few steps down from the Living room.   The Kitchen has a large island with bar stools, there is a Dining table for sit down dinners, and the Living room has cozy seating with a couch and several chairs (Fireplace is not useable).  The sunken office area has a bar and bar stools, a great spot to sit with a lap top and watch nature out the window while you work on vacation.

Going back the hallway, Bedroom 1 will be on the left.  This bedroom has a queen bed with an en suite bathroom located two steps down from the bedroom.  Bedroom 2 is at the end of the hallway, on the left as well, and has a Queen bed.  The second bathroom is located directly at the end of the hallway and has a tub/shower.  On the right is the third bedroom with 2 Queen beds and another en suite bathroom with a tub/shower.

There is a large mudroom/entry room and laundry off of the Kitchen and this separates the main living areas from the garage, which has been turned into a Family room/Game room.  This family room space is large with sitting areas, games for the family to enjoy, and a table that can be converted into a small pool table or small ping pong table.

If you are a nature lover, you'll enjoy sitting on the deck and watching the birds, deer and other wildlife that wander into the clearing.  There is a firepit on the side yard for cozy campfires in the evening, while you stargaze through the trees.  We are sure you'll love the quiet peace that wraps around Boxwood Cottage and we invite you to visit!

*A limited amount of paper towel, toilet paper, soaps, is provided for each guest.

**We ask that renters to be over the age of 25. By booking you agree with this policy and comply with the request that the renting party is over the age of 25.

**No pets or animals allowed at any time.  Any guest found to be in violation of our pet policy will be asked to leave and/or charged an additional cleaning fee.
**No parties allowed at any time.
**Smoking prohibited except in outdoor areas.
**Guest must comply with maximum occupancy at all times.  No Exceptions.  Only 8 guests allowed at any time.
**Parking for 4 vehicles.
