About this chalet rental
From our wooded location in the heart of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, enjoy the beautiful lake and sunset views from our totally rebuilt 700 + sq. ft. deck. Or enjoy a glass of wine on our lower deck off the downstairs bedrooms, while watching the boats on the water or your crew play basketball, volleyball or pickle ball on our 40' x 60' blacktop play area.
This five bedroom, three bath year-round home sleeps 8 - 10 and features a high ceiling great room with wood floors and a fireplace. Two bedrooms and two baths are conveniently located on the main floor. Upstairs includes a large bedroom/playroom and sitting loft, spectacular lake views, which overlooks the great room. The walkout ground floor features two bedrooms, a full bath, and a family room.
The fully stocked kitchen is ready for the chefs among you and has all the appliances, dishes, cutlery, and glasses you will need. The house has central air conditioning & ceiling fans in all rooms.
Our play area is private to the few houses on our private road and is also a great place for the kids to ride their scooters, play games, or just run wild. Our beach access is a short 300-yard walk downhill and has a deck for you to enjoy sitting at the water’s edge.
We are located in Hector, NY, just eight miles north of Watkins Glen, on the east side of Seneca Lake. Our community is filled with wineries, breweries, restaurants, small shops, hiking trails and waterfalls. The vibrant college town of Ithaca is a short distance away.
After a day visiting the 11 wineries within a few miles, or hiking in Watkins Glen or the Finger Lakes National Forest, escape to this quiet getaway to enjoy a glass of New York wine on the deck, read a book. visit with friends, or roast marshmallows at our side yard fire pit.

We had good communication with the host. The property was very clean and well kept. Plenty of room for the 10 of us. Well stocked with basic needs. Excellent location for the Seneca wine trail. We would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Host was a wonderful communicator, made sure our check in and check out was smooth and easy. House is beautiful, very clean and plenty of room. There were ten of us. We didn't spend much time outside as it was too cold but the deck with a view is wonderful!Parking is a little tricky if you have more than two cars, just fyi. Water had a sulfur smell at first but after running it between cooking and showers it was fine. Would definitely recommend it to others!
