Eine schöne Wohnung bei der Erlenmatte

Location was good, very close to Basel Bad Bf. The apartment was very clean and there is everything you need there. Good communication with the host. We really recommend it.

Es gab nichts auszusetzen. Nur das Duschgestänge war ein wenig defekt, es hat das duschen etwas erschwert, aber nicht ansatzweise der Gesamterfahrung geschädigt. Es war super.

Very clean, nice decor, only 10 minutes walk to train and a few minutes to tram stop, or 20-30 minutes to the old town. Host responded to most queries quickly.

We were asked to move apartments which we agreed to. The day before I asked for check-in info and was told we were back to the original apartment, it seemed they had forgotten to tell me. We found the check-in procedures complex - although clear details were given it was a bit hard finding the lock box inside the post box and entering the number was very difficult to see in the dark. It was then a fiddle to swap the keys for the city tax cash. We would have liked a blind at the kitchen window. The kitchen wasn’t as well equipped as we’d like - only one fork, a wok but no frying pan, no toaster, no chopping board, the kettle leaks a bit when pouring. Basel-card should be issued on check in. I messaged the morning after to ask, then chased and eventually received it after 12.30pm - over 15 hours after check in and we were only staying 2 nights so lost a morning of free transport. Only one toilet roll for a 2 day stay for 2 adults and no toiletries except hand soap. Large bed but mattress quite soft with 2 very thin small single duvets and a small blanket between us.
