I like that it is a stand alone place which is private and comfortable to be in.

Short walk from the beach where we were able to swim with turtles. Local petrol station and cafe in the other direction. House totally met our needs. Loved the air con units in both bedrooms as myself and my partner have different tolerance to heat.
The kitchen is stocked with all the basics so you can cook your meals.
Very very minor but the large handled knife broke and needs replacing. There is a coffee machine but I was hoping for a coffee plunger instead.
There is lots of road noise at certain times of the day.

The location and privacy of the space was amazing, and so close to the beach!

Great location right across the road from the lagoon and beach. Short walk to the Rarotongan and the marine reserve there. Private spacious front yard for parking.
Being next to the main road also takes in traffic noise. Tap water not filtered for drinking. Surprised by cold showers from insufficient solar heated hot water during cloudy and rainy days but to learn later that water could also be heated by electricity, which had to be enabled via a switch inside the dish cabinet. Surprised again by another cold shower as the switch had auto shutoff.
Owner did not accept credit card payment but did accept payments through bank transfers from local banks. This was inconvenient for me having to bring in a large amount of cash or pull that from ATMs.
