Braelochan Stay

The staff are responsive and sort an issue I had in timely manner .Very well located few minutes from the cruise port .The Balloch cafe next to the lake is also outstanding ..Neighbourhood is lovely ,Balloch castle gardens park is round the corner too ..

The property was in a fabulous location. It was comfortable and parking was easy. Immaculately clean.

A little noise from neighbours on the Friday night but it was a beautiful warm evening so they were probably making the most of it. Could’ve used a blackout blind in the bedroom. No sharp knife or scissors.

Excellent location

The location is very good, close to the train, buses, restaurants and pubs. The owner was communicative. The bed was comfortable. We had a pleasant stay in the town.

The facilities weren't great. To be specific, it was not very clean when we arrived. The couch and pillows were very dirty and some of the towels had black/brown stains on them. The apartment lacked amenities that one expects in a vacation rental, like laundry detergent or clean sponges to wash dishes. We found no pans to cook with, but there were pots. Cleaning supplies were left out scattered around the apartment (vacuum, broom, laundry rack...). It would have been better if they had been stored in a closet somewhere. Also, it was hard to sleep long because the thin white blinds didn't block out light in the white bedroom. Overall, our stay was pleasant, but we expected better based on the pictures.
