Very close to everything in Fontainebleau. Has a good washing machine and kitchen.

Bedroom is downstairs, cool in the height of summer. Slight damp feeling of a cellar.

Very spacious one bedroom apartment, with all the amenities, close to Versailles Château and public park. Large, open living/dining area, comfy sized bedroom, especially large bathroom by European standards. On a very quiet side street, so quiet peaceful, and just a few blocks away from the cafes of the St. Louis neighborhood in Versailles. The open air market, a lively large one in the Notre Dame neighborhood is about a 20 minute walk. A must to experience the tastes and foods.

The main Versailles Chantiers train station is 20 minutes by foot, so if you have luggage, take a cab or Uber.

Proximity to the Chateau, our only reason for the visit. A well-equipped kitchen.

The bed was located in the basement via a narrow set of steps that made a 90 degree turn halfway down with very low clearance. There was no cooling system (none advertised), but there was not even a fan to move the dank air of the bed area, resulting in warm temperatures and fitful rest. The entrance door lock was challenging to lock. The bathroom was on the upper floor, necessitating perilous stairs up and down
