My not accessing this property caused me have issues getting a place to stay

Unique apartment in a great location.

Fantastic location, close to facilities and nightlife and a unique apartment. Great value for money and was exactly what we needed for our holiday.

We had one night that was noisy as a result of the bars on the street next to the apartment.

Health hazard... Do not be fooled by the pictures.

The only good thing was the internet connection but don't choose it as a criteria. Nothing else to say. But do not be fooled by the pictures.

Most importantly, the manager is unprofessional and unfriendly. Asked for better pillows and soap in the bathroom from the very first day and he did not even bother (even for a long stay of 9 nights) The location is terrible, directly next to a bar (about 2 meters away) which will not let you sleep at night. I asked him for a solution, he said he will give me another apartment (in the same building and similar in features and smell) and wanted to cash another 350€ for it. Even if you are there to party, I recommend booking somewhere else and coming to the bars (which are actually good). Experience: - I received a very dirty apartment with plastic bags all over the place and very dusty tables and counters. - There was an opened carton of milk as a welcome gift in the refrigerator (I don't know how long it was there) - The apartment has a strong smell of mould and rot. (there is a small but rather loud ventilation system that doesn't do any good, which you have to turn off at night to be able to sleep). - Humidity and water coming from the bathroom wall. - The shower has mould on the walls but is too dark to photograph because the light doesn't work properly. - The rainshower head doesn't work properly but actually sprays the wall instead of you. - The washing machine has a serious mould problem. - The apartment is very poor in features: -- Very old TVs, which fool you by having a fake smart button on the remote. -- The dining table rocks left and right, you cannot sit to eat or work on it. -- some of the lighting does not work. The Booking.com Team was very professional and tried to give solutions to the manager but he completely refused all of them, so I was stuck in this apartment for a long time. Other pictures including the conversation with the manager was given to Booking.com for review. This is a short summary, could have written much more. The noise, the mould, the humidity and the smell constitute a health hazard.

Quirky small property which is great for a short stay, in central Fontainbleau

Central Location, quirky unusual property - some noise because of that. Good place for a short stay. Good facilities in a small space. Good instructions regarding arrival and departure sent beforehand.

Maintenance issues with plug mechanisms and shower head that need dealing with. Cellar area smells damp - probably unavoidable. Would have preferred two chairs rather than one small sofa in living area.

Really central, clean and ideal for our climbing trip.

We were supposed to have free parking but had to pay daily in the car park which was about €20 as we were never left a parking permit.

Appartement propre, bien équipé et bien situé, mais chambre humide car en souplex.

Appartement bien situé, à proximité immédiate des commerces, bar et restaurants. Facile d'accès depuis la gare avec un arrêt de bus à 50m. L'intérieur est propre et bien équipé, le lit est très grand et confortable. Le concierge est très réactif par message.

Malgré les efforts notables du propriétaire, l'appartement est assez humide, la faute à la chambre qui est en souplex avec deux petites fenêtres qu'il est impossible d'ouvrir. Je déconseille ce logement lors de la période hivernale pour les personnes sensibles à l'humidité et aux odeurs de renfermé. Plusieurs déshumidificateurs ont été installés, et la VMC tourne en permanence, mais cela n'est malheureusement pas suffisant. À prendre en compte avant de réserver.

Salle de bain , lit, endroit.

Canapé qui devait faire lit (mensonge) . Cuisine limite ; électricité dangereuse dans la chambre; plafond de pierres qui s’effrite ;internet très limite; ménage assez moyen et pendant notre séjour de 15 jours , pas de changement de draps ou autres ; escalier très moyen pour certaines personnes : hauteur de certaines marches + de 30 cm .
