Very nice place to stay. Good experience living in a heritage home. Would definitely recommend to others. Staff very good and helpful. Place also very clean and location wise is very good in middle of Georgetown.

Staying in a traditional Penang heritage house was a wonderful experience. The decoration was tasteful, practical, and full of character. We were initially concerned that the air conditioning might not be enough, but it worked perfectly. The courtyard and outdoor bathtub were especially enjoyable. Rather than feeling like a hotel, it felt as if we were staying in our own private two-story home. Having bathrooms on both floors also makes the property more accessible for guests with mobility concerns. The staff welcomed us with fresh local Penang sweets, and they were quick to help with anything we needed. The house was very well equipped and would even be suitable for a longer stay, although a washing machine would make it even better.

The property was located slightly differently from the location shown on Booking, but it was still conveniently close to the center. The bed was too firm for our taste, and a softer mattress would have been more comfortable. The entrance door is fully glass, which makes managing privacy curtains a bit inconvenient. The bedroom faces a busy street with traffic lights, and entering the room while people in passing vehicles look directly inside can feel slightly uncomfortable.
