Samsara Beach House

We stayed at Samsara Apartments in Zanzibar for five nights, and I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable and heartwarming travel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, our host made us feel completely at home. She was not only incredibly friendly and kind, but also incredibly supportive and genuinely invested in making our trip amazing. She regularly checked in on us to see how we were doing and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Whether it was suggesting hidden gems to explore, arranging taxis and bikes for us, or just making sure we had everything we needed, she was always just a message or a call away. Thanks to her, we got to experience Zanzibar in the most authentic and enriching way — it felt like we were being shown around by a friend, not just a host. The apartment itself was clean, peaceful, and perfectly located for getting around. But what really made this stay unforgettable was the personal touch and care we received every single day. Dit is een rustig guest house met persoonlijke sfeer. Een verborgen parel! De kamer was erg ruim, voorzien van airco en plafondventilator. De kamer had een ruime badkamer. Het bed lag prima en de wifi werkt goed. Er is een prachtige tuin om het huis waar je kan relaxen. Jamila is een lieve en geïnteresseerde gastvrouw en staat altijd voor je klaar, je kunt haar alles vragen. Je mag gebruik maken van het naastgelegen resort waar ligbedjes aan zee zijn, een zwembad en je kunt daar ook eten/drinken. In het guesthouse zelf is een keuken waar je je eigen eten kunt bereiden. Paje is zo'n 20 min lopen, daar zijn veel restaurantjes en supermarktjes.

Niets, het is zoals omschreven en zelfs beter dan verwacht. Ik was er in het regenseizoen en had veel regen waardoor ik niet echt in de tuin heb kunnen relaxen jammer genoeg.

Highly recommend this place! Super close to the beach in a quiet area. The stuff is super friendly and helpful. There is also a friendly dog - Dexter :) From time to time, there is no electricity, but it happens everywhere on the island.

Das Personal war sehr hilfbereit und freundlich, besonders Jamila.

Am ersten Tag hat meine AC nicht funktioniert , auch hatte mein Zimmer die Dusche und Toilette ausserhalb des Zimmer. Sollte in der Beschreibung erwähnt werden. Ein rumānischer Gast war meistens betrunken und man konnte hören wie er sich in der Toilette übergeben hat.
