Served the purpose of a night before flying out of Catania Airport, which wasn't even 10 minutes away by car. Apartment was roomy with a big bedroom and comfortable bed. Kitchen was nice. Living room had two bunkbeds in it. Very quiet. Heat in early-April worked great. Parking on the street right outside was easily arranged.
Safe but unattractive side street location. Not much going on in town, apart from the lively mall.

Spacious 1 bedroom flat, with a bedroom, living room, and kitchen all separated by doors. 10 min by car to the airport. Convenient for late arrivals or early flights. There was a little hiccup at our arrival, but the host was very responsive and immediately sorted the problem. The kitchen was equipped with some basics for a quick meal (olive oil, salt, napkins, coffee etc). Check-in and check out was easy. There is a dedicates street parking in front of the house.
Bedding and pillows were uncomfortable and did not smell freshly clean. I hope they were truly changed after the previous guests...
I would suggest replacing the old, hard pillows with newer ones, as well as replacing the poor quality, scratchy polyester sheets with better quality beddings made of cotton. It would make a whole difference in terms of comfort. Other than that, it's a convenient spot, not too expensive.
