​We chose this apartment for a one-night stay before our flight from Catania airport, as it is relatively close, and the city center is also within walking distance. For a single night, the apartment had everything we needed and was very clean. ​Unfortunately, the immediate surroundings are quite messy though this seems to be an issue throughout the whole city. Also, there was a lot of street noise all night long.. :(

I like the location not far from the beach and the airport. The decor is modern and the house good for short stay.

The area is dirty with rubbish on the streets and pavements. It is very noisy, couldn't sleep because of the noise from the street. Did not like check in at all. When arrived I needed to contact the owner to ask about getting to the house. Normally when I travel, the owners send you code the morning they expect their guest. I had to wait in the afternoon heat to get the code to open the door. It was not easy for me as all communication was in Italian which I do not know plus the owner asked me to take photos of our ids. 4 of them so I stood there in the heat taking photos of our passports, didn't feel comfortable. These things should have been explained before hand so I would have the photos ready to send. I am 55 hotelier myself, technology orientated but needed help of my son to do check in. It is said dining area but no kettle, simple glasses, plates or cutlery so how to use it ? At least kettle should be a must
