About this house rental
A recent guest wrote: Adorable, self-contained, quaint fairytale like cottage with rambling roses.
It has everything you could need inside the house and an added bonus that I could bring my sweet little dog.
In its own private grounds, it is very peaceful and relaxing with beautiful views, walks and food nearby (but you would need a car).
Kilbrittain village is cute with a lovely park and woodland walk.
Timoleague nearby is beautifully picturesque with lovely walks, a lovely historical Abbey, a petrol station with well stocked shop, pubs, restaurant, chemist etc. Courtmacsherry, 4km from Timoleague is a stunning drive along the edge of the sea with boats bobbing here and there.
The Courtmacsherry Hotel serves delicious food and has beautiful grounds.
There is also a gorgeous coffee shop in Courtmacsherry called the Golden Pheasant and two other lovely restaurants along the main street. I could go on about the beauty of West Cork but you just have to go and visit it for yourself 😉👍🏻.

This was a simple and primitive place. The cleanliness was average. I was expected to make a fire which I did not know about before the visit. I asked them to turn the heat on. It was slightly at night. I was cold and shivery. The door window was broken so the wind came in. Toilet paper was limited and soap was used bars from others. Shower was awful. Once I found out how to get hot water, I tried the shower. It went back and forth from extremely hot to freezing. I did not use it again. I just did old style sponge baths. The only positive for me was consistent wifi. I felt like I went back in time and had to wear my winter coat inside. I did not let it ruin my visit as Ireland was worth it. This could be a great place with more attention to detail for the guests.
