Stepping Stones Glamping ‘the olive’

So cute and cosy and had everything we needed for a lovely long weekend! Beds are super comfortable and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us!

The Olive is absolutely gorgeous - we could not rate it highly enough. Its immaculate and comfortable, cosy and beautifully decorated - exceptional value for money

The only thing we didnt like is we could not stay longer as they were booked out 😞

La localisation, le calme et la déco chaleureuse! Juste dommage de réserver et seulement après d’apprendre que c’est 25 euros par jour pour emmener son chien. Chien qui reste toujours dehors et dort ensuite parterre dans sa couche. C’est minuscule et facile à nettoyer donc beaucoup trop cher selon moi!!!

The cabin itself is brilliant with everything you need, very well organised and exceptionally clean. Better than some hotels. The owner is a lovely guy.

This glamping experience is not what it seems. The pictures in the profile lead us to believe this cabin is isolated in a private wild landscape with access to an actual forest trail and river. Immediate disappointment upon arrival as pictures do not show that there are 2 cabins close together and sitting right in front of the owners house in their front garden. The forest described is more of a land border/hedge area with a small stream passing through at the edge of the owners garden with occassional cars passing. The property was advertised as pet friendly but upon arrival the owner told us a surcharge of 50 euro cash per night applies if bringing your dog - as we generally only go to pet friendly properties this is a first for us and greatly disappointing as we booked and paid based on that. The hot water was not working at night and we guessed maybe it only works in the morning so we waited and nothing changed so we had to have cold showers before our journey home.
