Brilliant!

Set in a Gorgous rural area in west cork! Gorgeous scenery and a great fun place to stay!! Has everything you need and very eco friendly!

It was a bit cold at night and we weren’t able to lock up at night time but it didn’t feel unsafe. I was not expecting the road down to the truck to be as it was as I drive a small low car it was a bit awkward!

Loved this truck !!!!

been away from the hustle and bustle of town/ city life. Been back to nature listening to birds and the river flowing. No tv or phone reception. Peace and quiet. The simple things brought me back to my childhood, having a dip in the river, picking berries from the bushes. We had more enjoyment and laughs and enjoyed it with our fur family. Learned about how nature can help with illness from Pete. Lovely base to venture around west cork and beara. You have all your essentails, comfy bed, hot water, shower, clean towels and linen, small fridge and gas oven/ hob. Just relax and unwind......

Peaceful oasis with everything you need in a small and perfect space, inside and outside

Lovely location, hidden in trees near a river that we could hear gently in background. Liked the outdoor deck with roof cover, which worked very well for our family group with kids and dogs, when it was raining and warm in August. Host Jess was really lovely and very helpful.

The description was clear about the basic facilities and so we expected limited space and compost toilet. All good, in fact better than we expected! However, we had not realised that both adult beds are high up and reached by ladders, which wasn't possible for one of us who is older, and who then had to squeeze into the child bed which is inside a small cabin/ cupboard. He didn't mind and slept well. However, it could be clearer that you have to be confident to climb down a ladder in the dark to get out of bed for a pee in the middle of the night!

Fantastic location quiet and tranquil. Wonderful hosts who were there if needed. The truck was cosy and perfect for us with a lovely view in the morning.

Toilet bin was not emptied from previous guest.

Couldn’t recommend it more! A really special place.

We were absolutely delighted with our stay - the entire property had such a charming and peaceful energy. The truck itself is very comfortable and so full of character. We had everything we needed along with stunning views from the beautiful deck area and daily visits from the lovely Nettles and Pippi! It really was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Jess and Pete were always so accommodating and full of great ideas for day trips and activities nearby. It was so great to see their focus on sustainability throughout the property as well as their incredible art pieces. We couldn’t recommend it more and can’t wait to stay again in the future!

We really couldn’t fault the property. The compost loo was certainly a bit of an adjustment but all part of the experience! We were given everything we needed along with some brilliant educational material on how much of an impact this small change makes on the overall sustainability of the property.

Different and worth the while.

It‘s just completely different than what you usually have… perfect place to relax an calm down and experience a different way of life!

Truck got quite hot - but that's due to this unusual hot wheather. Some of the crockery and cutlery was not really cleaned so we had do this upfront. The Rest was absolutely fine!

A little slice of heaven

I loved absolutly everything about my recent 3 night stay in Jess & Petes truck in Coomhola in the countryside of West Cork, a region nestled in the southwestern corner of Ireland. The experience was a unique blend of rustic charm, natural beauty, and a touch of adventure, making it an unforgettable break from the mundanity of city life, in a superbly beautiful location. The truck is well mantained and has been done so with with obvious love and care. The kitchen is well equipped, with beautiful copper counter tops. It has a compact shower, with excellent water pressure (and LED lights!!) and plenty of hot water. It has an outside compost toilet, which was so beautifully done. The beds are super comfortable too... I slept like a baby each night. The verenda is a little slice of heaven and i sat there happily every night basking in the peace and tranquility. It is just a short walk through the woods to a stunning river where you can swim and there is even a fire pit you can light and nets to relax in should you wish!! The whole space is just breathtaking . The hosts were incredibly welcoming amd were an absolute pleasure to deal with, they were so very accomodating. I honestly couldn't recommend this truck of these hosts any higher. 5 star plus plus. I will most certainly be back.. This break was good for my soul 💜
