New Bilton House

Location was perfect, short walk from town and family who live close by. The house had a lot of room for it's terrace design. The host was easy to get ahold of, answered all questions swiftly and the process of checking in/out was easy. The amount of areas to relax in was perfect. Garden for the summer weather, living room to chill in the morning whilst enjoying breakfast, a dining room nice and spacious for boardgames and gathering of friends, not to mention a wicked sized bathroom!

Due to the time of the visit, it was extremely hot outside, and on the 3rd floor of the house this collected all the heat as it rose through it. The window on the front side of the property was broken, the latch was stuck, resulting in a window we couldn't open in the most important part of the house. Meaning we could not ventilate the heat after sunset, thankfully we had the skylight, but what's required to get airflow moving in a room is an inlet and outlet! The broken window meant this room stayed hot beyond any comfort for sleep. Having utilized the garden area for the majority of the stay, the pungent odour from heat soaked wheelie bins was inescapable. One of the neighbour's wheelie bins was giving off a foul odour, that everyone wanted to ensure you're aware of. Because other than the heat and the smell, it was a terrific place! The great thing about these 2 points are that they can be addressed, plus it's exaggerated due to the uncommon heat wave.

Booked this place as had car issues but never used it as got issue sorted . Got a very pleasant phone call from owners as they noticed we didn't use the place .booked it on the great reviews and with such pleasant owners I can see why .if I'm back in rugby will definitely be rebooking.😁
