Home away from home

It felt like home, when we pulled up and you could see the flowers on the table, fire lights on. It felt welcoming. Everything you need and more. Your so close to everything you need. We visit family in rugby. Normally we stay at a hotel, coming back to your own space not all in the 1 room or 2 rooms at opposite side off the hotel we great. Its was quiet and clean the shower is great, my son had space to play his vr in the double bedroom we sat and watched a film in the living room, no stepping on each other. Enough sockets no need to worry about sharing. The wifi was great no buffering. There was plenty of space to get ready. The personal touches. Richard had our car all signed up for parking, so we didnt have the stress over that and after 8 hours driving its the last thing you want to do.

Everything. Richard is incredibly communicative and accommodating. This is literally a home from home type property, its quiet, its relaxing, its cozy, its clean. We had an absolutely wonderful time here, to such an extent we could easily live there.

Good property for a short stay, located close to local amenities.

Nicely presented, clean and well equipped property. Handy for the town, station and local shops.

Beyond the control of the property owner, but parking close by when loading luggage is an issue. The stairs are a bit of an issue as they are narrow and steep with an unusual configuration at the top and no handrail on either side which would not be suitable for everyone. Internal lighting a bit dim and as I was staying in winter this mattered.

Lovely house close to the centre

Great communication from the host. He even sorted out a car parking pass for us. The house is fantastic, close to the town centre. It was lovely inside. Everything in there including tea and coffee. Really felt like a home from home. We will definitely be staying again.

Great spot , good size for the money was great value

Location was spot on for where we needed to be The house was well equipped and had everything we wanted for our stay , host was really helpful and communicated well

The only let down was the towels , they were like sandpaper in fact they could stand up on their own !! but I’d just take my own if I stayed again

Very well equipped. Clean. Nicely decorated. Comfortable. Easy access. Convenient for central rugby. Would stay again.

Hard to find faults but if I was being picky: Quite busy streets for parking, though owner provided a parking permit which was ideal. Couldn’t find a wooden spoon or similar for cooking. Steep internal stairs might be an issue for some guests.
