How remote it is
The fee you have to pay when you want to leave the property during your stay - Farm owner to please look at this.

Exactly what I expected and then some.
Silent, yet a quietly working farm.
Excellent onsite staff who bend over backwards to accommodate you, even an offer of "do you need anything in Ladismith, we going there now"....
Being greeted at the road and escorted to the farm.
The 6km dirt trip from the R62 to the caravan.....
Our car was low, so a few hairy moments. It's doable but will be more comfortable in a higher vehicle

We enjoyed to ride our bicycles to the river and it felt like it was just us there. We also enjoyed listening to the jackals at night.. It's a lovely little spot in nature.
