Bright & Lovely Apartment City Centre

Amazing location in Friedrichshain. Very walkable to lots of restaurants, cafes, vintage shops, public transit stops, etc. The balcony was lovely to sit on in the evenings and share a beer. We were three people and we found that both the bed and the pull-out sofa bed were very comfortable. The area can be loud in summer evenings with people sitting outside, but as long as we closed the window we didn’t really hear much.

The kitchen was pretty sparse; there was coffee and tea but no real way to make them. It would have been helpful to have a way to strain out the tea leaves / coffee grounds. There was half of a French press and what seemed like another kind of broken coffee maker on top of the cupboard - I only mention because the listing said there was a coffee maker. It also seemed like there was some supplies to cook meals but it wasn’t necessarily fully-stocked; if you plan to cook then I recommend checking in first and making a list before going to the store.

Lively and vibrant area with a lot of good restaurants and shopping. Nice beds. Spacious.

Extremely noisy from both the traffic and bars. The toilet had a funny smell. Only one coffee cup to drink from in the kitchen. Broken curtains.
