Almost Heaven is a cozy 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin that comfortably sleeps 8 guests, plus an additional 2 on the sleeper sofa. Located in the beautiful Alpine Lake Resort area, this cabin is the ideal place to reconnect with nature and enjoy all that the surrounding area has to offer.

✨ Main Floor
Living Room: Spacious with plenty of seating for everyone, a wood-burning stove, and cozy touches throughout. Plenty of wood will be provided for a relaxing fire during the colder months.
Dining Area & Kitchen: Fully stocked and ready for cooking! Serve up a meal at the dining table or get creative in the kitchen with everything you need.
Master Suite (Bedroom 1): A queen-size bed, an electric fireplace, TV, and an attached bathroom with a shower/tub combo.
Bedroom 2: Featuring 1 twin bed and a twin-over-full bunk bed (sleeping 3).
Bedroom 3: A cozy queen bed with TV for added relaxation.

Enjoy an additional family/entertainment room, complete with a sleeper sofa, couches, a wood-burning stove, a gas stove, and a dry bar area – perfect for hanging out and enjoying time with family and friends.

Back Patio: A great place to unwind, featuring a propane grill, seating, an outdoor fire pit, and a hot tub for ultimate relaxation.

Towels: The homeowner requests that beach/pool towels be brought with you; the home’s towels are not to leave the property.
Pet Policy: This home is NOT pet-friendly. Unauthorized pets will incur a non-refundable fee of $500 (up to $1,000 in case of extensive cleaning or damage).
Smoking: No smoking of any kind allowed on the property. A $200 penalty will be charged for any smoking inside.
Hot Tub: Please follow all posted hot tub rules. If excessive cleaning is required due to negligent use, a $350 cleaning fee will be charged to the card on file.

❗ Age Requirement: 23 years old minimum to book, with ID required at check-in. Failure to meet this requirement will result in eviction and no refund.
🧴 Supplies: The home comes equipped with linens, towels, and dishes and starter basket including dish soap, sponge, trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper.
🚗 4WD or AWD Recommended: Especially during winter months, 4WD or AWD is highly recommended for safe travel to the cabin.

Four of us stayed at Almost Heaven for a weekend away. House was perfect for our needs. We ventured to Terra Alta to visit High Ground Brewery (definitely recommend). Will definitely consider returning for future weekends. Only suggestion? Listing where we could get fire wood. We asked three different stores (after each recommended the other) to no avail. No fire for us.

The house has a very homey feel to it. It feels like you're staying at your grandparents' house. We loved the hot tub and made good use of it. The heat worked real well. A couple notes/ suggestions. Ad needs to be changed about what is provided. Ad says no toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, dishwasher pods or trash bags. But all those items were actually proved in the welcome basket, so I needlessly packed them. I was pleasantly surprised that although not provided, other tenants left other items like hand soap in the bathroom and dish soap. As a rule, I think hand soap, and shower soap and shampoo should be provided like a hotel would.Also, the location of the ceiling fan in the middle bedroom is unsafe while climbing into the bunk bed.Also, the wood stoves being advertised is a little deceiving because there was no wood or fire provided to light them.Otherwise, everything else was good.

Great spot for a relaxing weekend! Home was clean and cozy, kitchen well stocked, beds comfortable, enjoyed the hot tub and the fireplaces. Would rent again!!
