Lots of care and attention has gone into the cottage and the children adored the football pitch and ‘racing the trains’! The basket was a lovely touch. Lyme Regis fossil hunting / Crealy Theme Park and lovely food nearby – fantastic place! The hot under the stars was particularly special. Thanks for a great time! The children were enraptured by the rabbits in the garden!

Cathill cottage was just perfect for a winter break. This property was furnished to an exceptional standard with everything we needed even to cook a Christmas dinner. No detail too small and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our hosts thought of everything even wonderful welcome hamper and a doggie hamper also. Towels for the hot tub and others for the dog nothing was too much trouble and there as we walked in. The location was lovely and just next to the canal was great for an afternoon stroll and teaming with bird life - we even saw a Kingfisher on our last day which made my Christmas. We cant wait to come back again.

Upon arrival, spotlessly clean, very personal touches provided of a hamper with food and a cider each. Even Koda (Puppy) had a hamper of lovely items. Calm place with good amenities, plenty of space and Koda loved running in the field. We brought most things with us however everything you need was provided, only needed to get food for the stay. There are trains which regularly go by and honk but once inside this was not loud enough to cause disturbance. Lots of dog friendly places and a guide provided at the priperty of dofferent places. I wouldnt recommend the travelling lazy ricks fish and chips.. frozen chips, I could have made at home but Tumeric Kitchen 65 for indian was very nice. Would recommend for people who like a peaceful stay away from the business of day to day life.
