La casa è davvero confortevole e molto carina, si entra subito nel clima scandinavo di una volta. Il salotto con la stufa a legna è veramente rilassante e poter fare la sauna liberamente é stato fantastico. La posizione è ottima, abbiamo potuto girare tutte le Vesterålen e una prima parte di Lofoten. Dal salotto c’è una vista magnifica da cui abbiamo ammirato anche l’aurora boreale.
Forse é un’abitudine norvegese perché ci è capitato anche altre volte, ma c’erano molti prodotti già utilizzati sia in bagno che nel frigo e non si capiva se erano stati messi a disposizione dall’host oppure dimenticati da altri ospiti. Le camere al piano di sopra rimangono molto fredde, in questo caso il fatto che siano piccole è un vantaggio perché si scaldavano velocemente, le coperte di una camera erano belle pesanti ma le altre erano più leggere e due di noi hanno un po’ sofferto il freddo.

Door een probleem bij een ander huisje kwamen we hier last-minute bij uit. Door de geweldige flexibiliteit van Trond konden we hier snel terecht. Werkelijk een fantastische plek, waar we ons meteen thuis voelden. Het voelde alsof we het vakantiehuis van vrienden even mochten gebruiken. Keuken was goed uitgerust en we mochten van alles gebruiken. Er was een slee waar de kinderen nog even mee gespeeld hebben. De sauna maakt het helemaal af. Mooie wandeling gemaakt bij Hennes.
Eigenlijk helemaal niks. Je bent misschien iets verder weg van de Lofoten highlights, die wij door het slechte weer (sneeuwstormen) niet hebben bezocht. Aan de andere kant zit je hier juist op een rustig plekje met voldoende wandelmogelijkheden. Helaas konden wij door de bewolking geen noorderlicht zien, maar de locatie lijkt hier wel heel geschikt voor, met een vrij uitzicht over het water, richting het noorden.
