About this house rental
Would you like a holiday home with plenty of opportunities for fjord fishing? Then this is a good choice. The cozy holiday house, which was originally a farmhouse on a former small farm, is older and restored. Located in the small village of Holand by Gullesfjorden. From the house there is a great view of the fjord landscape. Satellite TV with many international channels including several German ones. 100 m to the fjord, which is rich in fish all year round. In addition to the usual sea fish, there are also salmon and sea trout here, which provide good opportunities for fishing. Boat for rent: 18-foot Rana open boat with steering console and 50 hp outboard motor. The boat is moored at the floating jetty in the marina 2.5 km from the house. Next to the house is an outbuilding with indoor bench for preparing fish with running water and light as well as room for storage of fishing equipment. THE BOAT IS AVAILABLE IN THE PERIOD 1.4-1.11. Several lakes in the area that are rich in fish. The house is a good starting point for day trips by car to Lofoten and Vesterålen. In the fishing village of Andenes in the far north of Vesterålen, you can take boats out to sea where you can experience the big whales up close. Car ferry runs in summer from Andenes to Gryllefjord on Senja and is a great round trip by car by following the inland road back to Holand.
