Wonderful stay in a beautiful home. Would certainly recommend.

Just had a one night stay. The property was beautifully and tastefully decorated throughout. The Christmas decorations a bonus. Property was easy to find with clear instructions for stay from host. Host was very helpful and accommodating. Easy walk into town on a quiet little street. I have to give a big shout out to the bathroom.. absolutely beautiful!! Really appreciated the soak in the tub. Can’t wait to return when we are next in the area.

Would struggle to find a fault with the property. Only thing I could mention is bathroom door handle a little loose needs persuasion to stay closed.

Wonderful place to stay!

Beautiful house with lovely rooms. Kitchen was clean and it was pretty easy to find everything. Instructions clear to follow and the host was very responsive to anything needed. A really nice place to stay.

Parking was very often not available. Light fitting over the table was very low so partner kept hitting his head!

The townhouse was a fantastic place to stay—clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It was clear that the host genuinely cares about their guests’ experience, from pre-arrival to during our stay. They were incredibly accommodating, responsive to all our questions, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect throughout our stay. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service made us feel truly valued and taken care of. It was a lovely stay—the townhouse was beautifully decorated with such thoughtful attention to detail that made it feel warm and inviting. Every corner reflected care and style, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Their dedication to customer service was evident in every interaction, and it made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. We felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay and would happily return.

Schickes Haus Nahe Zentrum von Workington

Das Reihenmittelhaus ist wirklich sehr modern und trotzdem gemütlich eingerichtet. Im Erdgeschoss ist eine voll- eingerichtete Küche, und ein großes Wohn-Esszimmer. Bei der gemütlichen Couch ist ein riesiger Flat-TV mit Netflix und sonst. Streaming-Diensten. Im 1. Stock ist ein Schlafzimmer und ein großes Bad mit Dusche & extra Wanne, im 2. Stock ein weiteres Schlafzimmer. Zu Fuß geht man gut 15 min. in das Ortszentrum mit zahllosen Restaurants & Pubs. Ein Parkplatz ist direkt vor dem Haus inklusive! Die Gegend ist ruhig. Die Gastgeber konnten problemlos per Whatsapp kontaktiert werden und waren sofort erreichbar bei Rückfragen. Der Schlüssel war in einer Schlüsselbox an der Eingangstüre. Alle notwendigen Informationen bekam man vorab per Mail.

Die Treppen sind sehr steil, vom Schlafzimmer zum Bad muss man einige Stufen rauf und runter gehen. Die Betten sind eher ziemlich schmal für zwei große Erwachsene.
