Overrated, sorry
The place is well located, a stone's throw from the nice little village centre and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. Quiet location. Owner was responsive over the phone and by mail. The place was super clean and considering its small size, much has been done to maximize the available space.
When I arrived, the owners were in the garden and saw me coming but merely waved from the distance. I have experienced warmer welcomes... The trap leading to the place itself is tricky to climb, worse so if you carry luggage : steps are super narrow and it's hard not to knock your knees and chins on the steps' sharp edges. A simple ladder, with round rungs would have been preferable. What I found quite unhygienic was having to do the washing up in the "bathroom" washbasin which was doubling as kitchen sink. Although I only stayed one night, I wouldn't have wanted to stay much longer as the place is neither a B&B (no breakfast) nor a "gîte" as the kitchen is not equipped for that. The garden furniture has seen better days (cushions could do with a wash). However, if you can handle the above comment, then the place is pleasant enough.

Petit endroit hyper cocooning et confortable 😍 Le lieu est vraiment chaleureux et décoré avec goût. L’emplacement est parfait, c’était vraiment agréable de passer par la pairie des moutons, ils sont adorables ❤️ Idéal pour une déconnexion de deux trois jours en nature, proche de Durbuy 🥰 Magnifique vue sur le ciel étoilée depuis le lit 🌌 L’entrée par l’échelle est insolite😆
La seule difficulté est de monter l’échelle avec ses affaires

La chambre est très agréable, très propre à notre arrivée, moderne et décorée avec goût. Les extérieurs sont aussi très agréables. L’hôte est très réactive et disponible si besoin. Je recommande totalement !

'Une Cabane au Verger' bracht ons de rust die we zochten!
Het verblijf is zeer rustig gelegen, je hebt gratis parking vlak ernaast, en door de aparte ingang heb je voldoende privacy. De trap is wat klauterwerk, maar eens boven kom je in een oase van rust en word je meteen verleid door het bubbelbad. De kamer is tot in de puntjes afgewerkt, met mooie sfeerverlichting, toffe spreuken aan de muur en goudkleurige accenten die het geheel een chique uitstraling geven. Het bubbelbad kwam ook perfect van pas na een dag wandelen!
De bedden waren voor onze smaak te hard. De scheidingsmuur met de woning van de eigenaar mocht ook iets beter geïsoleerd zijn, soms hoorden we de eigenaars naar elkaar roepen door de gang.
