We booked a family room for the third week in July. Receptionist welcoming and spoke English. Room was of a good size, with bunk beds over the main double bed for our family. A couple of niggles though: The lighting system is confusing. There are limited instructions as to how to turn them off, though this is in German and French and not English. If you are reading this and having the same problem, you need to click the left hand switch twice to turn them off and have the room and darkness, otherwise every time you turn one light off, another one will turn on in the room. It took a call to the concierge to find this out (I suspect he was a little annoyed, as he told me twice that the instructions were on the wall - maybe expecting Facebook, French or German). Though the room was clean, the carpet needs washing, as there was an order of stinky feet to it. The room was also very hot, even with a ceiling fan, so you may want to bring a fan of your own to keep cool during the night.

Attended for the Belgium Grand Prix, so appreciably busy, however parking could be better as struggled to find places and due to a lack of demarcation in the overflow carparks, people were parking everywhere, including on grassed areas. Rooms are clean, however in need of air conditioning as the far side of the hotel is glazed and the rooms were hot, despite a fan being provided. Breakfast had a good provision of all food types, cereal, pastries, eggs, sausage etc. Located nearby, the town of Barvaux-sur-Ourthe provides shops and plenty of restaurants, but does require driving to. Overall, would recommend.

Overpriced, we ended up paying 220 € for one night incl. breakfast (family room for 4). Sauna and jacuzzi would have cost another 60€ extra for two people. The hallway was very noisy during the night, woke up several times. Breakfast was good.

This is the first property I’ve ever been to, that didn’t have air conditioning. The staff I spoke to clearly explained that air conditioning is not normally needed, which I totally understand. I opened a window, a cool breeze came through, and I slept well. Great hotel, great staff. I would definitely stay here again.

Great concept and great location for experiencing the beautiful surroundings in the Ardenner area. The room had a nice design and the kids especially enjoyed the hotel playground area. Unfortunately the relax (spa and pool) is only opened between 10:00-18:00 (???) which is why we couldn't try it out. The hotel restaurant was nice, and despite that they only had one waiter for about 20 restaurant guests, we had a nice evening with great food and service. Wifi did not work at all in the rooms and the reception is only manned during daytime. Though all-in-all a very good stay.

It was a strange experience. The surrounding area was very nice. The hotel has good infrastructure. The service is so-so. We arrived late in the evening around 20.30and there was no 24 hour reception. They had an envelope with the key for the room. I went to the room and was not cleaned. It was in the condition from the previous guests. Hard to sort out this situation when there is no reception. WiFi is only at the lobby but it is really slow almost is not working. Breakfast is at 14 € but you do not feel the freedom to eat as much as you want despite the fact that is buffet. I make a sandwich for after breakfast and they complaint to me which I think is unacceptable for 14€ breakfast. Revision of prices and efficiency of services will make the hotel way better.

A last-minute get away to the Durbuy area. Beautiful scenery and a hotel room that had a beautiful view of the tree line and was immaculate. Reception was very helpful. Easy access to Durbuy and surrounds. --> Oh for a coffee/tea maker in the room.

It's a nice hotel for the price. The location is good if you have a car. The breakfast is okay but a bit expensive. The beds (bunk beds for the kids) don't work for everyone.

This was for the 82nd airborne remembrance march so there was a group of 7 of us. The wifi is not in the rooms, only in the lobby. So any time any of us needed to contact home we were in the lobby, it wasn't very convenient.

The hotel seems quite new and is very nice. It is difficult to find as it is not actually in Durbuy. The rooms are large and very well furnished, although nowhere to hang (Wet) clothes. Your clothes always get wet in Spa. Good breakfast on offer, but it does not open till 8.00am. Missed it on race day as needed to leave earlier. The hotel is 60 minutes drive from the circuit through lovely countryside. Durbuy itself is lovely. A selection of super restaurants set around a large courtyard area. Good prices an lovely food. A far cry from the chips and mayo offered at the track. Very good value and a place we will certainly return to.

Room was a twin with a bunk bed. Rooms were clean and functional but far from luxurious. Location was scenic but some way from places to eat. Our experience with the in-house restaurant was not good, the waiter did not speak English, nor was the menu in English and food was not to our liking.
