Appartement 2 chambres en Hyper Centre avec balcon

Es un apartamento muy cuco antiguo sin ascensor en el centro de burdeos. No se puede aparcar cerca si vas en coche lo mejor es moverse en Uber aunque lo ves todo andando. Todo muy limpio, espacioso, el wc separado en una habitación a parte del baño, entra mucha luz, camas cómodas , calefacción , lavavajillas y una anfitriona encantadora. Fuimos un grupo de amigas y todas estaban encantadas.

Está un poco escondido pero Marie, te ayuda por WhatsApp enseguida. Había poco papel wc, en una habitación no habían mesitas de noche , cargabas el mobiliario en el suelo. Las que dormían en el sofá cama, en el salón no habían cortinas y las veían otros pisos porque los ventanales eran muy grandes .

The apartment is nicely organised and very well equipped. The location is great and it’s a very good value for money. Clean towels were available for everyone as well as some coffee and fresh water.

Unfortunately, the check in process wasn’t very easy, as well as the overall communication with the hosts. Right after the booking confirmation the agency sent over a link with a long list of rules and information - almost overwhelming - also asking for a 500 EUR deposit not fully anticipated on the booking adv. They claimed to be available on Whatsapp but it looks more like a bot than a real phone number monitored by someone. Despite mentioning that check in information would be provided 48h before, I had to call 4 times the agency the day before the arrival to get the contact details of the persone in charge of the check in. I personally think such a check-in process wasn’t necessary. Keys could have been placed in some lockers as for the 99% of the apartments. When booking I stated clearly that we were going to be 6, but they did not prepare the sofa bed and we had to do it ourselves. Checkout was also not easy, the door didn’t close right at the beginning. On a general note, there are no curtains in the living area so who sleeps in the living area and this was not mentioned. No flexibility on check-in and check-out was also not expected nor specified upfront. I was never asked to pay up to 50 EUR to do an earlier check-in/check-out

Great location - close to everything but very quiet at night. The apartment has been renovated recently and is like new - spotless. Friendly host met us.

They require a deposit prior which I wasn't aware of at the time of booking. After more than a week still no response on the return. Seems they have a separate cleaning fee which they use the deposit agency top collect. Very confusing and unnecessary - just put it in the price and pay once. Poor communication.
