Good for your money

It's quiet, nice looking and in a safe area. Close to everything you may want. It's open anytime and they don't chase you like a dog during check out time. Ohh and the wifi is best. Free and fast.

There were hair strings on my bed. I love sleeping, I am cautious of where I sleep, the comfort, and cleanliness. Apart from that, I cannot complain

Although short with some inconveniences, I had a good stay.

I enjoyed the room overall and it was a spacious. I had a plumbing issue when I arrived, however, it was attended to promptly as soon as I reported it which I was grateful for. So the service was good. Staff were all very friendly.

The insect fumigation that happened during my stay was quite an inconvenience because the smell is uncomfortable and takes some time to go away. There is no air con in the room.

The stay was wonderful overall.

The room was spacious, with a lounge and comfortable couch/ seating area. The beds were also comfortable. The shower was amazing as well.

The toilet wouldn't flush time to time. Had to open the lid to adjust. The Tv remote was failing to pick up properly. The balcony was very small from what I expected.

Cleanliness and modern looking furniture

Room service was done on the 3rd day late in the afternoon, my expectations was for cleaning service to done everyday of our stay and early in the morning whilst we are out in the city.

If you're staying for more than two nights give this one a hard pass.

The room is large and most of the staff are very friendly. The hotel is very centrally located, and it was easy to get around. It wasn't noisy and the beds were comfortable. It definitely could have been worse. Most of the front desk staff are very friendly, with only one exception, and she was only on duty once during our stay.

Those 4 stars are extremely misleading. The room was unbearably hot. There's no aircon and the ceiling fan is located in the no-man's land in front of the entrance to the bathroom. Surely putting it above the bed would have been a more sensible choice??? We asked for a desk or a standing fan, but they don't have any. I had to go out and buy one so we could sleep at night. I tried to shorten our 3-week stay, but was told they wouldn't refund any of the money paid, so we had to make the best of it. The shower leaks like a sieve, and the floor is soaked after every shower. There's a flat roof in front of the rooms on the first floor, and guests (I assume), from upstairs, flicked cigarettes down daily. I watched the pile of debris grow over the weeks we stayed there. There's a hairdryer with a round 2-point plug and no outlet to use it in. They can't scan a document. They can't clean the rooms earlier than 3 pm, which clashed a bit with our schedule, as we went out every morning and were generally in during the afternoons. I stopped asking for anything after the fourth time I was told they were unable to assist with whatever we asked for. The extractor fans in the bathroom need a proper cleaning. One of the windows has a broken sliding stay. I'd suggest some thinner duvets for use in summer, especially considering how warm the room is. I won't be back, but it wasn't a complete nightmare experience either.

Sublime stay.i even had to extend my stay twice.

Centrally located,easy to move a round.It’s next to a lovely coffee spot and restaurants on Bree.If you’re a public transport person it’s close to Adderley. The staff is so helpful and friendly.

The hotel is strategically located within the CBD, close to the malls, long street, CTICC, Water front and only 20mns away from the airport! The front office staff were very friendly, always ready to help. They are very knowledgeable about the city and even directed us on how to move around and tour the city in the most efficient and cost friendly manner! The rooms are very spacious and clean and the cleaning staff are very friendly! We loved every minute of our stay there and will definitely come back again!

A good place for a one night stand

I liked the aesthetics to the room. The fridge was a must-have.

The shower was leaking, and I knew 2 bottles of water were free, but a 3rd was needed. Also under the bed was filthy with old condoms and lots of dirt.

The rooms were very spacious for the amount that was paid. The bar fridge was very welcome as it was needed for medicine storage. The microwave was also a nice to have. The room had the feel of a self catering unit but without it fully being one.

Some curtains would have been nice to help the rooms to not be that cold and block out the light at night. Other than that, not a bad word to say!
