Eco Cabins Kitulgala

Very basic but clean & comfortable accommodation set in the rainforest overlooking the river. Idyllic location. Was magical going to sleep to the sounds of nature. Rooms are a goid size. Beds very comfy & excellent mosquito nets although surprisingly, given the location, we saw very few mozzies. There is a 5 minute walk/climb through the forest to get to the place which is quite steep in places but the staff helped us with our luggage when we arrived & departed. They have lots of activities that they can arrange for you. We did rafting with them which we would highly recommend. They also sorted our departure bus for us (booked tickets & reserved seats) & transported us to the pick up point. Breakfast was good & quite substantial consisting of omelette, sausage, bread, jam tea/coffee. Communication prior to our stay was good.

We didn't have dinner here as quite expensive. Could do with a waste bin in the room. Some small signage on the path directing to the place would be helpful.

Very beautiful place right next to the river. Staff was friendly and kindly helped us get our bags down to the cottages!

Not recommended for relatively immobile people; requires 4 minute walk through jagged terrain. Only cold water in shower

L’emplacement et la vue sont top. Proposition de nombreuses activités à Kitulgala dont le rafting pour un prix très abordable. Hôte très à l’écoute de nos demandes et nous a déposé dans un super restaurant à la fin de notre séjour !

Quelques insectes et moustiques dans la chambre et la salle de bain mais en accord avec le cadre du logement
