This is the WORST accommodation. If you value your life DO NOT STAY HERE. I have never feared for my life more in a guest house / hotel. The door did not properly lock, it would have fallen off the hinge with one light kick. There were men outside the room all hours of the night. A hole was punched in the wall by our door and the wood of the door was completely broken and separated in the morning. We barricaded the door with the desk and even that was not enough. The room and whole floor smelt terrible of sewer. The toilet was broke off the wall. The walls and sheets had brown smear all over. Shame on Expedia for listing this property.

Hotel was hard to find, a worker from hotel next door helped us find our spot. When we arrived around 8pm the hotel owner was is they were booked up (spoke Italian and was translated in English by the other hotel worker stated prior). The hotel had some bugs and our luggage smelled after our stay (first leg of our trip). this is a small mom and pop business but by far unaccommodating.

Air conditioning did not work after being told it did and when asked to find a solution to the broken AC, we were just ensured that it was actually working. Ended up just using the fan. Not super helpful staff and the place was a little rough around the edges but overall it was okay for the price. Will say the location was super good and it’s proximity to major attractions and centrality made getting around Florence super convenient.

Address mentioned on the booking is not the right address, you have to walk on the street like crazy and then someone (if you are lucky) will tell you that owner sits at different address. Owner doesn't (want to) speak English at all.. it's very difficult to communicate. I mean Zero English.. You can't ask for anything. Next, hotel room can be on the 3rd floor or fourth floor and there is no elevator. Bathroom is outside the room. AC hardly does any cooling and you won't get any fan. This was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

For the price and very close to all the places you would want to visit. Food and city Center at walking distance. The only improvement needed is a fan in the room because the AC barely works. The cleaning lady did a good job daily. Still a good deal for the price and i will come again.

The guest house is on a strategic place that you can go walking to any tourist spot. The guests were polite and friendly. No problems with the room, even the place isn’t new, there were no problems, great bed by the way.

This hotel is gross. It smells like sewage, the bathroom has black mold, mosquitoes buzzed around our ears all night, and the bedding looks to be at least 30 years old. You have to check in offsite but he was friendly (though didn’t speak any English). The park across the street is really sketchy and the neighborhood feels unsafe.

The pictures posted dont reflect the actual conditions of the rooms. I dont know how this hotel was rated bit it doesnt even match the requirements of 1 star hotel. If i was able to find another place for my family and my brothers we would have left directly without even checking in.

We got there hours too early. They let us have a room in their property next door right away. Very friendly. Good breakfast. The lady speaks English. The older man doesn't, but he was very friendly and tried hard to communicate.

The hostess was very friendly and welcoming! Great location within walking distance to many of the main museums and galleries. Spacious room, not fancy but comfortable. Windows don’t have screens so if you want them open, bring repellent. The water pressure isn’t great but it gets the job done. Good breakfast - cereal, toast, yogurt and croissants. I definitely recommend!

It is very central hotel, just a few minutes walk to the restaurants, markets etc. Also 10 minutes walk to Santa Maria Station. The room was big and warm enough for us considering outside was very cold on January and we had a baby. The building was old but that does not bother me. The owner does not know English well but he understands you and can explain what he wants to say easily maybe due to his age and experiences. There is no information or left-luggage office. You ring the bell and they open the door. That's all. You can also leave your luggages to the hotel, moreover they offered us to leave the luggages until train time by themselves. And the breakfast, it was magnificient. Maybe the best in Florence. Kinds of jams, cheeses, cream chocolates, breads, fruity yoghurts, fruits, muesli, egg, hot and cold milk, teas and coffees, toaster, croissant and etc that I can not remember now. And Norie, the responsible lady from the kitchen and breakfast. She was always smiling, helpful and trying to make you feel like you are in your house. The design and the service of the breakfast was superb owing to Norie. Although our kids littered the kitchen and the table, she never gave up smiling. Special thanks to her. Consequently, this hotel can be preferred even for its breakfast only.
