Sparkling new hotel with excellent rooms, service and food at an affordable price!

New hotel in sparkling shape. Super comfortable bed (although no firm pillows), large feeling nicely designed, suite-like room with L-shaped sofa and other amenities. Good shower. Staff super friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast with several hot and cold options, at a great price of $8 per person per day. Able to add on after arriving, which was much appreciated. Convenient location. We will return. Recommended!

All the bed pillows were mushy feather type that collapse in the night and have no neck support. Recommend they add at least one firm pillow per room. Wall divider rattled with any vibration and HVAC could be noisy. I gave all this feedback to the hotel and they sent a warm response saying they will look into all this.

I have stayed here 3 times prior to booking the last trip and telling my friends from cold weather, how Amazing the pool is, and worth overpaying compared to the Many Resort deals in Reno.

We were sadly not even alerted at check in that the pool was CLOSED!!!! During our Entire stay!

It was really good other than the water issue

Very good. I liked the variety.

They had hot water maintenance the night we got there. We got in late and they didn’t say anything to us about a water problem. I went to take a shower and no hot water. We tried to call the desk but kept getting a busy signal. We saw a notice on one of the other rooms on our floor in the morning explaining the problem but we didn’t get one on our door so I was a bummer. Other than that it was great. Maybe do hot water maintenance in the middle of the night instead of 8:30-9 pm when people are still getting in. 😊

We arrived very late and checked out the next morning after breakfast, so no review for an extended stay. BUT the room was very clean, the beds were comfy, and the breakfast was tasty.

Expensive, but one of the best options in the Reno area (which doesn't have many)

The hotel room was completely free of any noise caused by guests. There was no guest noise coming from the halls or from the rooms next door. There was some traffic noise from a road that passes nearby, but less than I would have expected for a road this close. I am sure that the windows had lots of soundproofing. I did use ear plugs, but my wife wasn't bothered at all by the road noise. Overall, noise was much less of a problem than in most hotels, especially for a Saturday night. The breakfast was good. Better than the usual included breakfast in an American chain hotel. Most reasonable guests will find something they can eat and enjoy. The entire hotel was exquisitely clean. I'm not sure I've ever seen a cleaner hotel room.

The hotel was a lot more expensive than I would have expected for this area, but we knew that going in and were willing to pay-up for a better experience after having been very disappointed with lower cost hotels in the Reno/Carson City area. I think it is telling that there aren't many highly-rated hotels on booking.com for this area. My sister and her husband chose a different hotel, because it was about $150/night less and they had an appalling stay, with only 2 hours of sleep. We were happy to have avoided their fate. It wouldn't take much to upgrade the breakfast to outstanding. The coffee could have been better and we would have appreciated real half and half or milk instead of those little capsule creamers. The scrambled eggs had the dryness, texture, and granularity of hamburger, but were otherwise ok. I would suggest you opt for the mini quiche or the hard-boiled eggs. My wife suggested I try the mini quiche and it was much better than the scrambled eggs. The road noise was audible, but better than a lot of hotels in this area, due to the use of double-pane glass, which helped a lot.

Nice spot in south Reno. Room had a little alcove with a couch and chair which came in handy when friends visited. Staff was helpful. We had no problem with the parking, but they weren't busy. Breakfast was excellent.
