We thoroughly enjoyed spending plenty of relaxing time at this beautifully appointed property

Lovely bush surrounded deck with sea views, plenty of bird life to watch. We looked forward to visits from Charlie the owners cat. The property was excellently appointed with a fully equipped kitchen, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. It was a short walk down the hill to a great fish and chip shop and local restaurant. It also had a manageable walk into town.

We were a little surprised that you had to walk through one bedroom to get to the other, or get to the other bedroom from outside.

very friendly hosts, great location to walk down to the warf restaurants, main town centre is an easy pleasant walk. would be a great place to stay for the whole family or mate's surf trip

The heaters in bed rooms not working the temp between upstairs and down was about notable 5 % different ...the microwave was too high for short people to use .....The wi-fi was on limited useless ie shut down on first day there no contact with owner or manager when arriving or thro stay being call names after our stay sorry rating the place N/A

Beautiful property in beautiful Raglan!

It was a lovely home with everything we needed for our short and final stay in New Zealand! The home was clean and well equipped, we were warm and comfortable in our rooms once we had got the radiators and heat going. Really appreciated the electric bed sheet as we stayed on a cold and wet night! We were a bit disappointed that we couldn’t curl up in bed and watch Netflix as the TV was not up to date, however, we found a DVD selection and were chuffed to be able to watch “Hunt for the wilder people” on our last night in New Zealand! So this wasn’t an issue in the end. We would really love to come back in the summer and really appreciate all the property has to offer! BBQ and beautiful balcony views. Overall the property was fantastic and it’s a shame we didn’t have more time there!

A smart TV in the bedroom would be even better!

The location is perfect in walking distance to everything and very private. The views from the deck, lounge, and kitchen are just lovely. The lodge is very well resourced, very warm, clean, and comfortable. Off street covered parking right at the door is a real bonus.

Orca lodge hideaway.

Lovely outlook from deck, lounge and kitchen. Kitchen well appointed with cupboards, fridge and pantry well stocked if you forgot to pack something.

Going upstairs from bedroom to bathroom in the middle of the night. Neighbours a bit noisy at nighttime.

Schmutzige Toilette,keine passende Sitzgelegenheit beim Frühstück-kein Esstisch,für mehr Personen nicht möglich am Tisch zu Essen, Schlafzimmer nicht getrennt,man musste zum hinteren Schlafzimmer durch das Andere gehen. Die Schlafräume waren unmittelbar neben dem carport mit Blick auf das Auto.Klima im Schlafzimmer feucht und kalt. Nach Reklamation eines Kaffepressers(Loch im Boden),stand ein Ersatz vor der Türe,aber komplett verrostet. Vermieterin nie gesehen,null service.

Alles hat gepasst. Wir hatten zwar schlechtes Wetter und konnten die schöne Terrasse nicht nutzen. Trotzdem genossen wir die Aussicht aufs Wasser. Wohnung/Haus sehr geräumig und gemütlich. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Sicher eines der besten Angebote auf NZL.
