Villa Del Mar

New property, cool interior design and comfy bed. GREAT location 5’ away from the busy beach but still close to walk anywhere. I think it was the best location in arugabay. Good AC. Responsive host. Good privacy. No breakfast but many options close by. Loved it.

Wish we had a tv in the room but its a personal choice. Wish they made our bed daily but not a big problem. Everything was great.

Die Zimmer sind neu, sehr sauber, zweckmäßig und geräumig. Die warme Dusche war wirklich angenehm. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, und der Pool lädt zum Entspannen ein. Die Lage ist gut – alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar, aber dennoch ruhig.

Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Im Zimmer fehlen Wandhaken und ein Stuhl oder eine Ablagemöglichkeit. Wir haben daher einfach die Stühle von unserer Terrasse ins Zimmer gestellt. Trotzdem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können das Hotel sehr empfehlen.

Loved the location and the pool area- away from everything, but felt safe as a solo female traveler. Nice shortcut to the surf spot, short walk. Lovely family that owns this spot, they were very helpful in terms of suggestions, arranging taxis and tuktuks. Enjoyed sunsets and exercise space on the roof. They provided filtered drinking water and a welcome gift and coconut!

A few small details would make this place excellent! It would be great if they invested in a generator. The electricity was inconsistent (not their fault) but it meant that the AC didn't get cold for about half of the day, and the internet would drop which made it challenging to work and sleep. The main area smelled a bit like spoiled food because of it, and things were beeping loudly all day and night as they turned off and on. I asked them ahead of time to clean without strong chemicals which they noted and honored, but when I arrived the bathroom sink area had hairs and toothpaste in it and a ring around the drain. They offered to clean the room twice in 10 days, so I was taking out my own trash etc. For the price of this one in this area I was expecting more in terms of these themes, but overall I felt the pros outweighed the cons.

Наверное лучшая вилла, которую мы видели в Аругам Бей. Приятный бассейн, светлый ремонт. Сам владелец виллы живет на ней и управляет хозяйством вместе с работниками. До пляжа 3-5 минут пешком.

Убирались не системно. Всего 3 раза за 10 дней проживания. Дорогие напитки в мини-баре. В 2.5 раза дороже, чем в местных магазинах.
