We love that the location was so close to the center of Bologna. It was attractive, very roomy, and had everything we needed.

The air conditioning simply never cooled the room. We had both units running, but it could not bring down the temperature at all. We slept out from under the covers and were somewhat uncomfortable. We would have said something if we were staying longer than one night. Looking back at reviews, I saw that this had been an issue for this apartment in the past.

Disappointing Experience with Commercial Airbnb Stay at Aviana Suites, Bologna, Italy Initially, the accommodation impressed us with its nice decor, spaciousness, and central location with plenty of dining options nearby. It was also well-equipped with basics and a washer-dryer, which was a key factor in our choice. However, things took a turn for the worse when we discovered the air conditioning wasn't working upon checking in on Friday. Despite reporting the issue, the landlord's response was it was beyond his control, and the repair was scheduled for Monday. Given the F1 week rush, hotels were fully booked, so we chose to stay on. The landlord offered a one-night discount as a service recovery. Unfortunately, that wasn't the only issue: 1. Washing machine: Broken suspension caused it to move during spinning. 2. Toilet fan: Made a loud noise when turning on. 3. WiFi: Intermittent connection. 4. Cleanliness: The place was dusty, and floors weren't vacuumed or swept. The biggest letdown was that these issues weren't addressed despite our reports. A property should only be rented out when all amenities are in working condition and properly cleaned. This would ensure a better experience for guests.
