Les Combes De Rieux

The host Laurent was the perfect host. On meeting us at his beautiful cottage he went out of his way to make us feel so welcome. We had a 9 month old baby with us and Laurent had made sure that there was a travel cot and highchair in place ready for us, which both looked new so thank you for such attention. Once we were settled he then came with new floats for the baby in the pool and brand new utensils that the previous review had said were missing, which was so kind. The accommodation was just perfect for us and the pool was a great haven for us to relax and have barbecues. The cottage was really private and had everything that you needed in it and was only a 5 minute drive from Sarlat and only a 5 minute drive from the nearest supermarket. We would definitely recommend and would stay again if in the area so thank you again for everything.

Having our own pool was such a luxury. It was a fabulous size and kept really clean during our two week stay. Laurent was a great host and helped us with anything we asked for (extension lead and Boules set) He was around if needed but we always felt that we had our privacy too. Very comfortable bedroom (completely silent at night) and living room. Kitchen had all the essentials and the shower was powerful. The washing machine was used regularly too. Sarlat centre was around a 1.5 mile walk (5 mins in the car) It was a perfect location to travel to many beautiful villages. Very dog friendly. Made best friends with Appi (Laurent’s gorgeous puppy) who we will miss lots

Heerlijk verblijf. Gastheer Laurent is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Verzorgd ingericht huis met alle faciliteiten. Grote supermarkt vlakbij. En Sarlat-la-Canéda is ook dichtbij Groot zwembad is de grote troef. We komen graag terug. Merci Laurent!
