Wasn’t worth the climb 5 flights of stairs especially not being able to sit out although not much to see of wallace monu

The beds were comfortable with good linen

1. On entering the block the carpets were very stained and dirty and all up the stairs 2. Very pungent cooking smell throughout the block even up into the flat 3. Main bedroom no cord for small window blind so had to have it permanently down as no cord to roll back up 4. Couldn’t get out the balcony door hey wouldn’t unlock - good job none of us were smokers 5. Blinds broken on the balcony window 6. lots of scuffs on suite and furniture and some walls 7. Beds very comfy with nice bedding 8. Very noisy and busy road outside 9. Racket from pub next door glass bins being filled or emptied Saturday morning about 7am 10. Only 1 and a bit toilet rolls 11. Wine glasses need replenished 12. Sparce welcome basket - no milk either

Enjoyable Stay

Apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped, hosts where welcoming and good communication. The Apartment is in a good location, can even see Stirling castle from bedroom and the walk to town is a 30min walk or there's a 5 min bus into town just round corner from apartment

Nothing we disliked, a air fryer and abit more counter space in kitchen would be nice addition but the kitchen is still good, no faults with anything else

Penthouse? Maybe not

Hot shower and very modern feel to apartment but this made it feel quite sparse. Kitchen had everything needed for a two night stay. View of Stirling castle simply stunning. Shops within a five minute drive. Onsite parking most helpful as it’s a residential area with lots of cars.

Not so much penthouse, more, four flight walk up. No lift. Kitchen door was closed, I’m guessing for fire regulations, with no window. Quite claustrophobic actually. Needed a dryer in such a small place, nowhere to dry clothes.

Lovely little get away

The location of the apartment was great and it was great there was free parking to as hard to find with some properties,the beds were super comfy, and we loved sitting out on the balcony of a night. The hosts were very responsive and the online guide book was a great help 😀

Could of done with a mat in the shower as was rather slippery for my girls there only 5 and 8 but no biggy easily solved, there is alot of stairs so not great for people with mobility issues, besides that a nice place to stay.

Lovely apartment and position but traffic noise an issue

Lovely flat, well fitted and comfortable. Parking right at the front door. Kitchen well appointed and pkenty of cutlery and crockery. Flat is close ro eareries, supermarkets and city centre. Very easy to travel to tourist spots and the motorway is not far. Instructions received prior to arrival were outstanding and the video tour explaining everything is the best. Wish other establishments would follow the example.

Trafiic noise from as early as 0600 very disturbing. Many trucks towing trailers loaded with roads maintenance or gardening equipment rattle up and down both Raploch and Drip Roads, clattering noisily over the speed bumps.

Lovely home from home

Flat was in a great location- easy to get onto the various motorways for exploring towns further afield but also close to Stirling itself. There is a bus stop not far should anyone not drive. Flat was very comfortable and had all the amenities, including hairdryer!

Close to town centre and motorways so easy to visit the surrounding area. The apartment was clean and comfortable with parking that is a bonus.

Excellent accommodation, caring hosts and stunning location and views from.your own personal balcony

Close enough to Yown Centre gor a cheap short taxi in. However local supermarket and takeaways a short walk away

Perfect Stay

The Penthouse was very well equipped; a lot of kitchenware and even different spices and oil were available; towels for head, face and Body were provided. Make sure to watch their YouTube video - everything is described clearly. We had some trouble to find the Key safe, because we watched it too late😅 The hosts were great and really attentive. We enjoyed our stay very much and can recommend it to you 😊

Moderne Wohnung mit Tücken

Die Wohnung ist technisch sehr gut ausgestattet: Herd, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine, drei Fernseher (in jedem Raum einer; wir brauchten sie nicht). Sie ist modern eingerichtet. Das Bett war prima für uns. Die Möglichkeit, einen Balkon zu nutzen, ist prima. Der Kontakt zu den Eigentümern läuft schnell und komplikationslos. Das Angebot, über eine App zu kommunizieren und sich zu informieren, ist eine gute Idee.

Der Begriff "Penthouse" für die Wohnung ist euphemistisch aus verschiedenen Gründen: Die Wohnung erreicht man nur über 54 Stufen ohne Fahrstuhl, das war im Angebot bei booking.com nicht erkennbar. Die Lage an einer Straßenkreuzung bringt viel Lärm mit sich. Der Balkon ist nicht gut nutzbar, auch wenn damit geworben wird. Er war nicht sauber gemacht (Tisch, Sessel ohne Sitzauflagen, Geländer mit Taubendreck). Die moderne Dusche ist spiegelglatt, es gibt keine Haltegriffe. Auch Ablagen sind äusserst rar in der gesamten Wohnung.
