Location was excellent: 2 underground stations and 3 lines within 5-10 minutes walk, 1 stop away from Paddington Station and the trains to Heathrow. There were a couple of things that weren't working when we arrived, but the host got them fixed as soon as we let him know - most responsive I have seen. It was small (as expected) but convenient, good shower, usable kitchen, comfortable bed. The street was very quiet, with shops just around the corner. Given the high prices for London apartments, it was well worth the money.
Just be aware that it is in the basement down a very steep set of steps. And because it is so small, there is no room for furniture for sitting around. But those are consequences of the location, not something that's fixable.
